北斗七星を説明してみよう

Early in the evening, looking up to the northeast sky you can see seven stars that form the shape of a dipper. This is Hokutoshichisei. In Japanese, Hokutoshichisei means the seven stars that form the constellation Ursa Major, but Hokutoshichisei is not the name of the constellation.
If you connect the two stars at the tip of Hokutoshichisei with a straight line and extend the line by 5 times, the star there that shines brighter than the others is the North Star. In English, Hokutoshichisei is called "The Big Dipper"(a big spoon).
