七福神を説明してみよう

"The Seven Deities of Good Fortune" often seen around New Year's Day are Ebisu, Daikokuten, Benzaiten, Bishamonten, Fukurokujujin, Jurojin, and Hotei.
Although it is always said "The Seven Deities", in fact Ebisu is the only one originally from Japan. The others are from places like India and China - a real international group. And each provides its own good fortunes.
There is an old custom that if you put a picture of the seven deities under your pillow when you sleep, the first dream od the year will be a good one.
If you've got all seven of them, then there's nothing to fear !
